Belle plongée dans l'underground des années 80 à New-York, des artistes qui sont devenus des personnalités indispensables de la culture d'aujourd'hui. Cet album de photographies propose des portraits qui sont de magnifiques documents, de stars comme Warhol, Basquiat ou David Byrne jusqu'aux inconnus. They were best known for short songs and even shorter life-spans. The book also delves into No Wave cinema, a vibrant underground scene where figures like Jim Jarmusch, Nick Zedd, and Steve Buscemi first cut their teeth.
